{% hint style="info" %}
**Basiq:** sends your company documents.\
**You:** confirm receipt and pay the second instalment — within 48 hours.
{% endhint %}

## What you receive

* Company registration documents
* Nominee passport + bank statement (proof of address)
* Nominee selfie

## What you do

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

#### Check the documents

Company name, registration details and nominee details should match what you agreed. Report anything unexpected immediately.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Pay the second instalment

Pay the invoice for the second instalment and share the payment confirmation with your manager — in direct messages or in your setup group.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Confirm receipt within 48 hours

Reply to your manager that you have received the documents.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

{% hint style="warning" %}
If the second payment is not received within 2 days of receiving the documents, the setup is paused until payment is confirmed — and your timeline pauses with it.
{% endhint %}

## Do not

* Register anything with the company yourself
* Contact banks or payment platforms on behalf of the company
* Take any action related to the setup unless specifically instructed — unauthorised actions can cancel replacement eligibility and add requirements or costs

## Done when

* [ ] Second instalment paid, confirmation sent to your manager
* [ ] Documents saved securely — you will need them later
* [ ] Receipt confirmed to your manager

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://help.basiq-solutions.com/guide/setup-steps/step-4-documents.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
