# Proxy & access problems

Pages not loading, expired sessions, red fields on the IP check, slow profiles.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Before anything else: are you in the right [OctoBrowser](https://octobrowser.org/signup/?p=10266582) profile with the right proxy for this service? The table is in [3. Proxy & OctoBrowser](/guide/setup-steps/step-3-proxy.md). Never "just this once" from a regular browser.

| PayPal will not load | Switch proxy → regenerate the browser fingerprint → clear all cache → retry |
| A bank will not open (WorldFirst, Airwallex, Wise, Mercury, Currenxie) | Not a settings problem: [GonzoProxy](https://gonzoproxy.com?r=6162JEL) keeps financial websites closed on purpose. Open the bank through an [IPRoyal](https://iproyal.com/?r=basiq_setup) residential proxy in the nominee's country (United States for Mercury) or your a-socks mobile proxy — [IPRoyal guide](/guide/guides/proxy-guide/iproyal.md), [Banks](/guide/guides/banks.md) |
| Proxy session expired | Reconnect — [GonzoProxy](https://gonzoproxy.com?r=6162JEL) sessions reset every 120 minutes (the session limit must be set to 120 minutes or the proxy will not work at all) |
| Traffic ran out / below 400 MB | Add traffic on the Residential Proxy page and generate the proxy again |
| GonzoProxy top-up not credited | Crediting takes up to 20 minutes after the network confirms the transfer. Keep the TXID and do not pay twice; after 20 minutes write to @GonzoProxy\_bot with the coin, network, amount and TXID — [GonzoProxy guide](/guide/guides/proxy-guide/gonzoproxy.md) |
| OctoBrowser profile very slow | Check proxy quality at cip.vg → regenerate the proxy if needed |
| Red fields on the cip.su check | Restart the profile — the fingerprint updates. Tunnel being red and DNS country ≠ IP country are acceptable. Still red → generate a new proxy |
| Login security triggered (PayPal) | Stop all attempts for 48 hours. Repeated attempts make it worse |
| Shopify asks for a review right after login | Your IP does not match the company's country of incorporation. Fix the proxy before logging in again |
| Stripe shows extra checks | Stripe must be accessed only through a mobile proxy ([a-socks](https://asocks.com/c/5eB0tn)) in the nominee's country — not a residential one. No a-socks plan in that country? An IPRoyal dedicated mobile proxy with auto-rotation off |
| WorldFirst login fails on a residential proxy | Open WorldFirst through a mobile proxy ([a-socks](https://asocks.com/c/5eB0tn)) instead — see the [Proxy Guide](/guide/guides/proxy-guide.md) |
| Wise will not load or asks for extra checks | Use a residential proxy from [IPRoyal](https://iproyal.com/?r=basiq_setup) in the nominee's country — the same rule as for every bank — [IPRoyal guide](/guide/guides/proxy-guide/iproyal.md) |

I set everything up but the IP check still fails

Go through the checklist in order: proxy generated with the 120-minute session limit → proxy added to the profile as `socks5://ip:port:username:password` → fingerprint matched to your real OS (macOS ARM → macOS ARM, Windows 11 → Windows 11) → profile restarted → cip.su rechecked. If it still fails, generate a new proxy and repeat.
Can I use a different anti-detect browser or proxy provider?

Any anti-detect browser may be used; [OctoBrowser](https://octobrowser.org/signup/?p=10266582) is recommended and is what the guides describe. Dolphin Anty is deprecated and causes account blocks — do not use it. Proxy providers we work with: [GonzoProxy](https://gonzoproxy.com?r=6162JEL) (residential — stores, PayPal, Shopify Payments; it does not open bank websites), [IPRoyal](https://iproyal.com/?r=basiq_setup) (residential — banks and Wise; dedicated mobile as a Stripe backup), [a-socks](https://asocks.com/c/5eB0tn) (mobile — Stripe). Whatever you use, the rules stay the same: one proxy per service, correct location, one stable fingerprint. Switching provider on a live account is fine as long as the country stays the same.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://help.basiq-solutions.com/help-center/troubleshooting/proxy-and-access.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
